The Nidra shala offers a private beautiful setting next to the indoor sea water pool and jacuzzi area. Tucked away from all the noise, the Nidra shala welcomes you to enjoy a quiet place for your yoga or wellness practice. It is located in the Lalon Idor Spa complex, where you can take in the traditional Cycladic architecture. The indoor sea water pool is a unique and stunning feature, with massage jets, flowing stream and a water canon.

The word Nidra can be translated as “to be in a state of consciousness” and this shala offers a peaceful ambiance which creates a nice collective experience for groups. The Nidra shala has a capacity of up to 20 people. There is built in air conditioning and the windows can also be opened, overlooking the spa rooftop and the Aegean sea. The Lalon Idor spa complex is an oasis for luxurious pampering and relaxation to the max. Located on the adjacent part of the Aegialis hotel premises, the spa complex is a beautiful space for all guests of the hotel to enjoy complimentary facilities and choose from the paid body and beauty treatments available.

This was my first time in Greece and Amorgos island. I am blown away of how beautiful and kind this place is. The hotel is such an elegant place, with great 5 star facilities. As I was on a yoga retreat, it was so nice to see all the shalas. Our classes were in Nidra shala in the spa complex. We had the best morning sessions there, it is super quiet and right next to the indoor pool, so it was great being near the water. My bed was so comfortable, the room was great and the whole experience was so nice. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the hotel for making us feel at home.

We had the best time at Aegialis. The rooms were lovely and the check-in process was very quick. The staff is so helpful and the service is impeccable. I was leading a yoga retreat here and by end, we didn’t want to leave. We actually felt like home. The spa beautiful and my massage was perfect. Our yoga sessions were in Nidra, near the indoor sea water pool. What a lovely energy and view! I also want to mention the food because it was so good. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast with so many options.
