GUIDED ISLAND BUS TOUR

The Amorgos guided island tour will begin at Aegialis hotel & Spa, where you will depart on a minivan or minibus to explore this wonderful experience. You will visit The Monastery of Panagia Chozoviotissa, the most popular monument to visit in Amorgos. This activity also includes a visit to Chora, the main town of the island where you can enjoy a nice lunch in a café or taverna of your choice, and a stop at the Monastery of Saint George Valsamitis.

The first monument you will see is The Monastery of Panagia Chozoviotissa, where you will climb approx. 300 steps (takes about 20minutes depending of your walking pace) and reach the top where you will be greeted with psimeni raki and take a tour inside the monastery. From the top, you will enjoy a serene moment overlooking the breathtaking views of Amorgos. There is a small shop there where you can purchase small souvenir for yourself and your loved ones back home. Afterwards, you will be taken to the Monastery of Saint George Valsamitis where you will meet with a friendly nun who will greet you and speak with your group about this beautiful religious monument.

Finally, you will be taken to Chora, where you can walk on the beautiful cobbled stone alleyways, do some shopping from the local boutiques and enjoy a delicious lunch of your choice. (please note lunch is not included in the price). Afterwards, you will taken back to Aegialis hotel.
